This took about 25 minutes to prepare, and it was delicious! I’ve posted the instructions below so you can make this healthy dish, too!
Baby Bella Mushrooms with Basmati Rice
(Serves 2-4)
Ingredients
8 oz container of fresh Baby Bella Mushrooms
1/4 of a Red onion (or adjust to taste)
A dash of Cracked black pepper to taste
A dash of Salt to taste
1/2 Teaspoon of Tapioca starch
1-2 Tablespoons of Olive oil
1-2 Tablespoons of Butter or Ghee (grass fed, preferably)
1-2 Tablespoons of Whipping cream
1-2Tablespoons of Cook All (no salt) seasoning by The Seasoning Lady (I can’t promise yours will be as delicious if you use some other seasoning.)
Instructions
Prepare the Basmati rice (Follow cooking instructions on the package.)
Heat the Olive Oil in the pan. Then add onions, mushrooms, black pepper, salt and seasoning. Stir until the moisture begins to release from the mushrooms and onions. Add butter. Continue to stir until browned.
Remove from heat, then add whipping cream and stir as the moisture thickens. Add more pepper, salt and seasoning to taste.
Serve over steamed rice.
